Incase you ever thought about confronting it, you have to be at least HR 50.
What about that great, belly-flopping incarnation of terror? Every Uth Duna hunter will say that just dealing with him is really hard. You want that one, Arch-Tempered? Imagine a monster on triple espresso shakes: fast attacks, harder hits, with probably a few new dastardly tricks that make hunters question their life choices!
Announcement of this monster threw the Monster Hunter community into massive upheaval, some excited and some not yet… TimRie, AKA TKillidia, is currently preparing for a new Hammer made from the Uth Duna’s “electrical friend”, whatever that means. A self-proclaimed Hammer-main, GenEric, posted the funniest video of him failing his Big Bang the moment Uth Duna executes a body slam-spin- classic.
Others awfully went on. The Kraken God said the game is slow with no replayability and that updates are so far apart from each other that they strip away a player’s engagement. Excryptor95 was really kind of along the same lines, saying the full grind keeping the World so addictive is missing on MHWilds. “In 2 days you farm all the jewels and just stop playing.” That’s sarcasm.
Then time were bashed. Golagfla pleaded into Capcom’s ear to stop making FOMO events while _ShadowDrake_ was left to wonder why would they even bring this up almost a month out. BrianStaut weighed in that it’s pretty much the standard procedure for Arch-Tempered monsters- let the players prepare and learn the attack patterns.
A few hunters are here for a laugh. Nora✿˚ ༘ ⋆｡♡˚ gave a big “Let’s goooooooo!” with sparkly emojis, while ES 46 said thanks to Lagiacrus for the thunder weapons, which should really come in handy against this lightning lizard.
So, there’s Aaron Clover dropping a bit of shade, saying Monster Hunter “belly flops under Dragon’s Dogma 2.” Way to go with the lawnmower!
The big-ticked wild-some-Arch-Tempered Uth Duna is hence here: love it or hate it. So sharpen your blades, charge up those hammers, and try not to stand under it when it comes to body slamming. Just saying.
And to those hunters who are crying for a monster hunter classic collection on PC/console… just keep dreaming. Capcom is otherwise preoccupied.
