For a long time, the downfall news had the fans of Indiana Jones-The brand new story chapter of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, The Order of Giants, comes released for PC on 4th September with ray-tracing and DLSS 4 support.
In the expansion an old backpack is being dusted off again as players stroll through Rome solving puzzles, avoiding cultists, and delving into Nephilim secrets. If anyone is yearning for some serious whip cracking since the release of the base game, this would be it. Judging by the reactions, the community does really seem pumped, with some begging for no more snakes (sorry TLS Fancanth) and just bouncing with joy at the thought of returning.
And then there are the great detractors about the RTX features, John_Smythe saying: “It took Machine Games like 3 months to get all your RTX jazz working correctly in this game. I hope this DLC doesn’t suffer the same fate.” Oh, man. Fairgo it really is. Meanwhile, Stinkabletv is clinging onto his 1080Ti nervously at ray tracing performance, slick with a “wink wink” for NVIDIA, insinuating that it’s time for an upgrade?
Speaking of an upgrade, MTM envisions RTX 5090 in conjunction with i9-10940X, joking about a “hot gaming summer” with power drawing at 1000 watts. Oh, good luck with that electric bill, dude.
The real question everyone wants to know: will there be giant rolling boulders chasing us? KrzysztofWojnar literally asked, “Does we have jogging witch double giant stone ball?” Machine Games, if you hear this… please say yes.
For those yet not in, Looters-N-Shooters comes in strong: “I just started playing this game, and I’m actually really enjoying it. It took a bit to get going, but I just got to Gizeh and I can’t put it down.” And by the way, it’s Game Pass, so no excuses.
But the hype isn’t all about the DLC. Some players like chugada CHEESE are already waxing nostalgic about how finishing the base game was a challenge for their GPU. Meanwhile, nafojames blatantly (or not-so-blatantly) implies he wants one of the NVIDIA new 50-series cards to max out settings. Same, dude, same.
Then there is Lorenzo Gonzalez leaping like a rock with an unrelated Game Freak announcement: “For me the best announcement was the new multiplatform game from Game Freak.” Great, Lorenzo. Great.
So yeah, September 4. Rome, cultists, ray-traced ruins, and hopefully no snakes. Whether it’s counting the days for The Order of Giants or replaying the base game, one thing is very clear-Indy is back with fiery temperament. And by fiery I really mean if your GPU could handle it.
