The MCU seems to be unstoppable, and going by the current trend, if these leaks are anything to go by, 2028 will bring Blade, Black Panther 3, and The Fantastic Four 2, as per @cosmic_marvel. Well… and the crowds are almost losing their minds on seeing this!
To start with, Blade… A movie that was announced YEARS ago, and there exists a multitude of gamers wondering whether it shall ever come to fruition. As one gentleman by the name of TommyBoi1906 put it in a response, “You mean to tell me that the Blade movie might release nearly 10 years after it was announced?!?!?!?!” Seriously, how long is Marvel going to take? Some gamers, including one named Spartaneddy1, think they might as well just get the team together and call it Midnight Sons. That… actually sounds kinda cool? There you go!
Now we move on to Black Panther 3. We have no clues yet, but after the rollercoaster of emotional experiences that was Wakanda Forever, all players want to know where the story goes next. But what about Shang-Chi 2? DanielW3712 remarked on its absence, and honestly, I’m with him. That movie was a hit, and I want more of Simu Liu kicking butt.
And then there is The Fantastic Four 2? That was like a concrete slab hitting the ground. Like for real, we don’t even have the first Fantastic Four movie yet (it’s coming out in 2025, by the way), and Marvel somehow has the satisfaction to announce a sequel already? @oneviljak felt the same way as I do and said, “fantastic four 2????” Meanwhile, SpiderStyle98 among the players feels like it might somehow connect to Secret Wars Part 2…, which does sound plausible.
And don’t say people are happy about it. @EdwinZeelen plainly said: “They stink like failure,” which… hurt. And @und_rskore blasted Captain Marvel, saying: “I hope Marvel never releases Captain Marvel films ever again.” Those are some tough words, but not everyone is gonna be happy.
Some of the players went ahead with talking about their concerns with other projects. @multistanacc18 asked, “What about the Scarlet Witch movie instead?” A fair point—the story of Wanda ain’t finished, is it? And @House0fstrange wants to know about Doctor Strange 3. Like, c’mon, Marvel, GIVE US SOMETHING.
The cherry on top? Marvel is fully booked for YEARS. But with Blade seeming like it’s gonna take a whole decade to get released, some players just… are already tired. @ShadowS37041903 basically said: “who tf cares it’s still 3yrs from now.” And one cannot disagree there.
So, if these pictures indeed come true, 2028 is looking like quite a party. At this rate, all of us are going to start believing it once we see it. In the meantime, maybe, let’s dream about Fantastic Four and Blade… eventually.
