Engaged in the Event Quest “Kut-Ku the Forest Conqueror,” it is now time to set the Wudwud Guise α armor set on your furry sidekick. All the journey requires is that you take on the Tempered Yian-Kut-Ku and acquire all the materials with those devilish claws.
Alright. Y’know, what is a Wudwud anyway? If suddenly, you find yourself somehow on the outer loop of Monster Hunter lore, Wudwuds are Forex mon Cultura creatures that somehow give “weirdly cute” vibes. Now, your Palico can dress up as one. That would be the language of going… from cute to… well… still cute, but unconventional rather.
Reactions from the Monster Hunter sphere for the official announcement tweet poured in, some hype, some increasingly impatient, while others angrily demanded information. Imagine, millions of players. Because as fantastic as the Wudwud gear is, everyone really, really wants to hear all about Title Update 2 (TU2).
“Done in 15 minutes. Back to waiting for TU2,” Tweeted one. Another perfectly said, “This is great….. so uh….. about that TU2 info?????” And honestly? Mood. The Monster Hunter community is starving for that next big update.
Some, meanwhile, really disliked the event. Others termed it a “panic release,” insinuating Capcom churned it out hurriedly to divert attention away from complaints of repeated Arch-Tempered monsters-and others just shrugged that off-“don’t need that. Next,” one player said plainly.
This, however, was not the story for all the replies, as some players were genuinely excited: “Finally, a new worthy event quest,” cheered one player. Another swooned, “I love WudWud 😍,” and honestly, I feel that! Who wouldn’t want their Palico looking like an adorable, armored fluffball?

So yeah-new event quest, new Palico drip, and a whole lot of gamers side-eyeing Capcom for that TU2 trailer-will it be out soon? Fingers crossed. But till then, there is Wudwud. And honestly, that’s not a bad consolation.
