Okay, now about the game. SEN came out swinging and only managed to solidify its reputation as the feared number one team in the game. The more G2 became disoriented, the more things went awry, especially when Tejo was nerfed, which ironically lies at the core of their playstyle. Such one reply from @beyxndOW was just too harsh to stomach “… G2 only wins because of post plant. Now that Tejo was nerfed, they will struggle to see the same results.” Ouch!
And it was not just the gameplay. Oh, no. The drama in the replies was next level. Some G2 fans were all in denial. That was @667hev, downplaying the win of SEN by trying to find a “mickey mouse level” win path for them. Others, however, pushed back hard. “@KalyanbrataG: you can’t tell me sen wasn’t absolutely cracked in the game… especially zekken.” And really? Facts.
Then, straight at the other end of the spectrum were the haterz: “@JyothiSaurav: Fxck G2 😂😂😂.” Harsh, but hey, that’s esports for you! Meanwhile, @unbiased_w66507 waxed philosophical from a different perspective: “Today, valorant won.” Deep.
And then, well, what is a big match without some classic old-school trash talk? @LEMONGIN13 came up with the heat: “Golden ERA my ass,” while @QueenGrumpyyy asserted G2 would have won had they picked SEN first. Bold but probably a bad strategic call no matter how it would have panned out.
The undisputed MVP of the replies, though, was @TheGMk13, who gifted everyone with a meme of people losing their Pick’ems and a caption that went “Me watching how everyone lost their pick ems.” Relatable.
So where do we go from here? UNBREAKABLE momentum courses through SEN after explosive performances from Zekken, and they really look like they are eyeing the title. G2 will have some soul-searching to do now-that is if they want to rise from this loss.
